I dabble on the viola (and cello?), build furniture, and study haberdashery; I’m currently a managing member of a company that imports natural wines from specialized locations.
Much of my travel has inspired me to be a Google guide across the US, Canada, and Europe, travelling to 80+ countries.
Some additional hobbies include chess, horseback riding, aviation, snowboarding, sharpshooting, alpine climbing, AAB Airborne Parachuting
and riding my Indian Scout.
I have been a professional actor for an Alternative Shakespeare company, performing at semi-yearly events.
I have participated in several independent films, and theatric events at George Mason University. Additionally, I have assisted the professional costume wear for some widely popular TV series, and political actors.
I currently work on scholarship projects for my almae matres, Wikimedia Foundation,
as a member of the Linguistics Society of America, Language Journal,
as a member of the Association of the Advancement of Baltic Studies, Journal of Baltic Studies.
I am a former chair of the Randolph-Macon Academy

Before the Covid era, I volunteered with the Lion’s Club Int’l at the University of Richmond.
I’m an epileptic, and it has been adventure to overcome;
as of February, I have been 1 year seizure free.
My left femur was shattered with some other bones in a car incident in 2012, and I have since rehabilitated well so that I could still participate in rugby and continue an athletic lifestyle. I continue to fight other medial conditions.
With all the humility I can muster, I played the handheld Pokémon games competitively.
I formerly competed in regional in Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG tournaments, and
Magic: the Gathering TCG tournaments.
Some of my other gaming hobbies are on PC.
